Data Deletion Instructions

ConvaiBD respects your privacy. This page explains how business users and Messenger customers can request deletion of data processed by our app.

1. For Business Users (ConvaiBD Account Owners)

Option A — Delete instantly from your dashboard (recommended)

1. Log in to your ConvaiBD dashboard.
2. Open Account from the sidebar, or go to /account.
3. Scroll to Delete account.
4. Type DELETE and confirm.

Your account, connected Pages, conversations, products, images, and AI settings are permanently removed immediately.

Option B — Disconnect a Facebook Page only

1. Log in to your ConvaiBD dashboard.
2. Open Connected Pages.
3. Disconnect the Page you no longer want automated.

This stops new Messenger processing for that Page and removes the active Page token from automation use.

Option C — Delete your entire ConvaiBD account by email

1. Email support@convaibd.com from your registered account email.
2. Use subject line: Account Deletion Request.
3. Include your account email and connected Page name(s).

We will verify ownership and delete or anonymize account data within 30 days unless retention is legally required.

2. For Messenger Customers (People Who Message a Business Page)

If you messaged a business that uses ConvaiBD and want your conversation data deleted:

1. Contact the Facebook Page owner directly and ask them to delete the conversation from their business records, or
2. Email support@convaibd.com with the Page name, approximate message date, and your Messenger profile name.

We will coordinate deletion of stored conversation records associated with that request after reasonable verification.

3. What Data Is Deleted

• Stored Messenger conversation history tied to the request.
• Page connection tokens and automation configuration for disconnected Pages or deleted accounts.
• Uploaded business content associated with the deleted account, unless you ask to export it first.

4. Data That May Be Retained Temporarily

• Backup copies for a limited period as part of normal disaster recovery.
• Billing, fraud-prevention, or legal records where retention is required by law.
• Aggregated, non-identifying analytics.

5. Meta Data Deletion Callback

If Meta sends a user data deletion request to our app callback endpoint, we process it according to Meta Platform requirements and provide a confirmation reference when complete. Status inquiries may be sent to support@convaibd.com.
